Oliver - Standard Bernedoodle - Graphite Merle

Oliver is Luna’s handsome brother—a standard male Bernedoodle with the same rare and beautiful graphite blue merle coat, highlighted by subtle merle markings and rich mahogany points. His coat is soft, loose, wavy, and non-shedding, making him a great choice for families looking for a hypoallergenic and easy-to-maintain dog. Oliver is expected to mature between 50–65 pounds and has a friendly, curious personality that makes him a joy to be around. Born on February 5th, he’ll be ready to go home on July 5th after completing our comprehensive 12-week Started Puppy Training Program.

Oliver is currently thriving in our training program, where he’s learning the essentials of crate training, leash walking, basic commands, and house manners. He’s working on cues like “sit,” “stay,” “wait,” and “place” while also being gently exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, people, and environments to help build his confidence and social skills. We tailor our training approach to each puppy’s individual personality, and Oliver has shown a bright, eager-to-please attitude. By the time he’s ready to go home, he’ll have a strong foundation that will make the transition into family life easier and more enjoyable.

The “graphite merle” is a unique and striking coat color we’ve worked hard to develop over the years in both our mini and standard Bernedoodles. Characterized by a deep, dark grey base with little to no visible merle patterning, this color often includes rich mahogany points that stand out beautifully against the muted blue tones. Unlike many merle variations that fade or lose richness over time, graphite merles tend to darken and become more vibrant as they mature—both in the blue coat and in the point coloration. Though often mistaken for a black tri in photos, especially in low lighting, the graphite merle reveals its true beauty in person, where sunlight brings out a stunning, subtle sheen that sets it apart. Capturing its depth and complexity in pictures can be challenging, but in real life, the color is nothing short of breathtaking.
