So you think you want a puppy
Adding a new puppy to your family is a not a decision that should be taken lightly. This is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT and we expect our puppy homes to ensure they are ready for such a commitment. Below we have compiled some answers to the questions we are asked most often and repeatedly. We hope this helps you decide whether or not one of our Bernedoodles is for you!

All of our Bernedoodle puppies go to our vet for a 8 week puppy exam and are deemed healthy by our vet before they leave us. All clients are provided with a copy of this exam.
All doodle puppies will be de-wormed on a regular schedule and will be up to date on all age appropriate vaccines when they leave us. All clients will be provided with up to date vaccine history forms from our vet.
We send all of our Bernedoodle puppies home with a bag of the food they're eating, a blanket that smells like mom and a few of they're favorite toys / chew in a custom Shady Oak tote bag.
All of our doodle puppies go home with their up to date vet records.
Our Brnedoodle puppies come with a 12 month health guarantee on all life threatening, symptomatic, congenital defects and genetic diseases. More info can be found on our puppy contract.
We do not offer a health guarantee on anything contagious a puppy can contract as soon as they leave our care or can be caused by stress. This includes but is not limited to parvovirus, coccidia, giardia, round worm, hook worm, tape worm, any illness that can be bought on or caused by stress, and virus or bacteria.
WE DO NOT allow in home visits from people/families who we do not personally know. We do not have a facility. Our puppies are raised in our home. The same home we raise our children in. Not only does allowing unknown people off the internet in our home put our dogs/puppies at risk, it also puts our families at risk. Please respect this and do not ask to come view dogs/puppies before a litter is 8-10 weeks old, has been cleared by our vet and is ready to go home. All litters have a specific family meet / take home date. This is the day your family can come meet all available puppies.
Please understand that we are busy home school moms raising some pretty awesome puppy handling kids. Our kids, their schooling and our family come before puppy appointments and potential clients. If at any time we feel as tho a potential client is overbearing, demanding or not considerate of our families and our priorities, your application will be denied.
We love each a and every one of our puppies. Whether they are raised in our home or in the home of one of our awesome partners, it is very important to us that our pups end up in the best homes possible.
