Started Puppies
At Shady Oak Doodles, we are proud to offer our 12-week Started Puppy Training Program, designed to give your puppy the very best foundation for a happy, well-balanced life. From 8 to 20 weeks of age, puppies in our program learn essential skills in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Our goal is to make the transition to your home as smooth as possible, while setting your puppy up for long-term success.
During the program, puppies are introduced to crate training, potty training, leash walking, and basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, come, wait, place, and kennel. They are also taught how to “settle” at home and in public, ride calmly in the car, and practice polite socialization with other dogs and people. By the time they graduate, they have a solid understanding of manners and daily routines, making them easier to integrate into your family life.
Every puppy receives personalized attention, consistent structure, and positive reinforcement throughout the program. They leave us fully vaccinated, confident, and well-prepared to continue learning in their new homes. Our training program not only saves families the stress and sleepless nights that often come with raising a young puppy, but also ensures that each dog grows into a well-behaved, loving companion ready to thrive in their forever home.
