Health & Veterinary Care – Every puppy receives the very best start in life. Each puppy has an 8-week veterinary exam and is cleared healthy by our licensed vet before going home. Puppies are kept up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and deworming. Families receive full veterinary records including exams, vaccines, and health history. All puppies are microchipped before leaving us, and we include 30 days of free pet insurance through Trupanion.

What’s Included – Each puppy goes home with a starter bag of food, a blanket with mom’s scent, a few favorite toys and chews, and a custom Shady Oak tote bag. Our puppies also come with a 24-month health guarantee covering all life-threatening, symptomatic, congenital defects and genetic diseases (details in our Puppy Contract).

Appointments & Deposits – All appointments to meet puppies are held in person at our home ranch. We require a deposit to schedule an appointment. If you decide a puppy is not the right fit during your visit, your deposit is refunded immediately. As required by law, we collect 7.75% sales tax on all puppy sales.

Our Family Commitment – We are a homeschooling family raising our children and puppies together. Our family comes first, and we ask all potential clients to be respectful of our time and priorities. If at any point we feel that a client is overbearing, demanding, or not considerate of our values, we reserve the right to decline the application. We love and value each and every puppy we raise. It is very important to us that they find the best homes with families we trust and with whom we can build lasting relationships. For that reason, we reserve the right to deny any application at any point in the process.
